IN response to ED admits to party

chaos, RANGARIRA MHANGO says: There has always been chaos in the ruling Zanu PF party dating back to the days of the late former Vice-President Simon Muzenda, Eddison Zvobgo and Dzikamai Mavhaire. To make matters worse, President Emmerson Mnangagwa was also involved in factionalism which led to his predecessor Robert Mugabe’s deposition in a military coup. It is immature for Mnangagwa to deny that Zanu PF is imploding due to factionalism. This time around, it is going to be worse because the centre can no longer hold in Zanu PF.

IN response to Chamisa attacked again, SANDO says: I knew it from the word go that Zanu PF was going to hijack opposition MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa’s Meet the People campaigns and turn them into a precursor to the violence that we will see ahead of the 2023 elections. Chamisa has shaken the ruling party to the core such that it is gearing to stop him from visiting more rural areas for fear of losing rural votes.

MAPUDEGE says: How can someone who promised to be a listening President when he assumed power on the back of a military coup in November 2017 turn a deaf ear on the attacks of MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa? President Emmerson Mnangagwa, please order your party activists — if they are the ones behind the attacks — to leave Chamisa alone so that he campaigns ahead of the 2023 elections. Be the listening President your said you were.

IN response to Mnangagwa illegitimate: Zanu PF member, ROMBERAI says: So it took three years for Zanu PF member, Sybeth Musengezi, to file an application at the High Court challenging President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s ascendance to power. Something fishy is happening here. Time will tell.

IN response to ‘Zim likely to miss COVID-19 vaccination target’, TAURAI MASHURA says: President Emmerson Mnangagwa had done the right thing by setting a target to achieve COVID-19 herd immunity. The vaccination programme had gone on well, but hesitancy is slowing the pace. I think the COVID-19 vaccination is a plus for him, despite being a failure on other fronts. So far, only 2% of his promises have been fulfilled since the day he was elected into office. He has dismally failed to meet most of his targets.
