In response to ‘Zimdollar dead by next month’, ANDREW NYONI says: President Emmerson Mnangagwa hired a plane which costs US$30 000 per hour to Davos, I wonder which money he used to pay, Zimbabwe dollars or United States dollars?

SOLOMON MAPAPUTSI says: The Zimbabwe dollar died a long time ago.

In response to July Moyo defends Pomona deal, TONY SIBANDA says: Local Government minister July Moyo is messing things up. He stands accused of inflating the price of pumps at Lake Chivero. Now he has given away the Pomona dumpsite to some foreign company, which is charging the City of Harare for waste disposal, even at a time when the city fails to take garbage to the dumpsite. I have reason to believe that someone in high places is getting kickbacks from such shady deals.

In response to Zim inflation among global highest, PIKIRAYI says: It’s sad that Zanu PF wants to continue ruling and ruining this country. All it has done is ruin everything. The economy is long dead, there is no life in the agricultural and mining sectors, while there is no sign that shows that there used to be industry in Zimbabwe.

In response to ‘75% of parents can’t afford school fees’, GWIZHIKITI says: The President Emmerson Mnangagwa administration should take Zimbabweans seriously when they say things are hard and they are finding it difficult to survive with each passing day. Zimbabweans are crying for prosperity, but their biggest fear is that those who promised them milk and honey are keeping everything to themselves. Zimbabweans do not want luxuries, they just want a decent life. They yearn for long-gone days.

In response to ED, Mthuli, Mangudya — where are these men taking us, MUDDY PADDY says: If we do not address the elephant in the room (corruption), we will never fix the economy. We have a lot of minerals with great value that can support our economy. Things can stabilise if government could listen to advice from economists like former Finance minister Tendai Biti and Gift Mugano.

MIKE EMJAY CHIUTSI says: If we do not take the bull by the horns, nothing good will come out of this State-created mess. Zanu PF must leave office as soon as yesterday.

In response to Zanu PF shuts door on Kasukuwere, MAKWASHA MADZURE says: Who is he who wants people to go down on their knees? You earn respect, not command it. Saviour Kasukuwere has not earned it, hence he is not going to get the respect.
