BULAWAYO artist Binga Moffatt Muchimba (37) (pictured) has urged people to repent and follow Jesus Christ in his recently released song Talalumbo Jesu.

The song was launched at Assemblies of God Church in Queens Park, Bulawayo.

“As a born again Christian, I have been pushed by the love for Christ to preach the gospel of repentance to the lost individuals out there through music,” he said, pointing out that it was sad to see people drowning in sins and worries when God was calling for their freedom.

“People should know that there is Jesus Christ who died for them on the cross to be redeemed from sin. The song Talalumbo Jesu comes as evangelisation, motivation and appreciation of God’s endless love for his people,” he said.

Although he started singing in 2004, Muchimba only managed to professionally launch his music career last year through his debut single release, Kolumba Leza.

The singer said his family and church colleagues had been the greatest supporters of his career.

“I started singing at home before I joined fellowship singers. To date I have performed at our church’s music festivals. My family and church members always encourage me to keep working hard. I appreciate fans from different places for accepting my music,” he added.

Muchimba believes he will continue to make his fans happy through good music.
