ALFA ROMEO STELVIO

is the most cost-effective Executive SUV to own in Zimbabwe

Inaugural AA Spare Parts Pricing Guide provides authoritative independent view of cost-of-ownership

Recently updated Alfa Romeo Stelvio is available in Super and Quadrifoglio models

Alfa Romeo Stelvio is now available in Zimbabwe from Zimoco. It’s a breath of fresh air as it becomes part of the conversation whenever one is looking for a mid-size SUV which makes a fashion statement.

The Stelvio's driving experience is good. It manages to blend comfort and handling slightly better than competition. It is a touch more practical than the Porsche thanks to its more generous interior space and bigger boot.

“They are hitting the sweet spot. Luxury midsize SUV buyers are looking at Stelvio because they want something different than the same old BMW, Jaguar, Range Rover, or Audi that their neighbours have,” says Manfred Chaniwa the Zimoco Business Development Manager.

The brand has now overcome the stereotype of poor Italian quality. The Alfa Romeo Stelvio screams sportiness and flamboyance. It is one of the prettiest SUVs you'll see, drives with a delightful vigour and satisfying powertrain. It is a dynamic performer.

Like any other brand which is not your usual type, the buyers would like to know whether it has a good after sales service and parts availability. Zimoco has that side of our purchasing decision covered. It actually is cheaper to maintain than competition.

The Alfa Romeo Stelvio has ranked amongst the most affordable cars to own in the inaugural AA Spare Parts Pricing Guide. The Alfa Romeo SUV came out top in both categories in the Executive SUV class, one of only two brands to win multiple segments of the research.

“The AA Spare Parts Pricing Guide is important research consumers must be made aware of. Buyers often don’t consider the potential lifetime costs of vehicles at the time of purchase, and budgeting for these expenses is critical,” the AA said in a statement.

“Our research shows that more and more people are keeping their vehicles for longer due to prevailing economic conditions and personal finance circumstances; the information in our Guide is a critical component of proper research as part of buying a new or second-hand vehicle.”

Alfa Romeo’s Stelvio has the lowest Rand value of the AA’s parts basket research in the Executive SUV segment. It also features the lowest service costs, proving that it is not only gorgeous to look at and beautiful to drive, it is also cost-effective to own.

Having some of the most affordable parts in the industry make an enormous impact on Alfas dealer network and its ability to service its valued customers in support of its ongoing drive for customer satisfaction. Zimoco represent Alfa in Zimbabwe

Sharing the Giulia’s dynamic platform, Alfa Romeo’s first SUV conquered a complex challenge to make an Alfa capable of driving with agility off-road without losing anything in terms of performance and handling on-road. In other words: a SUV that can be driven like a sports sedan.

Featuring perfect 50/50 weight distribution, Alfa Romeo Q4 all-wheel drive architecture, best-in-class power-to-weight ratios and innovative engine and driver technologies, the Alfa Romeo Stelvio embodies everything a true Alfa Romeo should. Not only that, but the Stelvio can boast to be the lightest mid-size SUV in its class thanks to its lightweight body structure and carbon fibre driveshaft.

The Alfa Romeo Stelvio certainly does stand out from the crowd, thanks to its distinctive Italian design, expressed through its proportions and technical architecture leaving the impression of sophisticated simplicity and quality, inside and out.

The Alfa Romeo Stelvio is available in Super and Quadrifoglio models powered by an all-aluminium four-cylinder 206kW 2.0-litre Turbocharged petrol engine and mighty 375kW Bi-Turbo V6 respectively. Both models feature a host of safety and luxury features as standard and automatic eight-speed transmission
